Finding a Path to Our Heavenly Home With Your Support

Christ The King Parish, Leechburg, like so many parishes in the Diocese of Greensburg, took faith formation online during the pandemic so that the next generation of Christ's disciples could continue on the path to their heavenly home.

Helping Us to See the Need During the Pandemic

Holy Family Parish, Latrobe, saw an immediate need to create new ministries during the COVID‑19 pandemic. Like many parishes in the Diocese of Greensburg, they started a cleaning ministry to make sure the church was safe and sacred for all who gathered and a weekly meal ministry last summer to help feed many who lost their jobs.

Catholic Charities: Warming and Comforting the Community

Catholic Chrities of the Diocese of Greensburg received urgent calls for help every day during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic.  In 9 months, the organization distributed nearly $200,000 additionally.

Showing Us the Truth in the Roman Catholic Churches of Uniontown

The Roman Catholic Churches of Uniontown raised money to pay for food boxes and helped to distribute them at Uniontown Mall. They usually distribute 150 Thanksgiving baskets. This year, they helped nearly 600 families.

Staying Connected With Streaming Liturgies

Father Matthew Morelli's parish, Church of the Good Shepherd in Kent, Indiana County, was among the first of many parishes to stream Masses to those unable to gather during the pandemic. He has continued to stream Mass since March almost every weekday for the faithful.
